Welcome to PlayWerewolf. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the PlayWerewolf website and online game. By accessing or using PlayWerewolf, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About PlayWerewolf

PlayWerewolf is an online social deduction game. The service includes the game client, match rooms, user-generated game sessions, and related content hosted on our website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PlayWerewolf. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using PlayWerewolf, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts and Guest Access

You may access PlayWerewolf as a guest without creating an account. We may offer registered accounts in the future. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials and for all activity that occurs under your access.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use PlayWerewolf to:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or defame other players.
  • Share unlawful, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Impersonate other individuals or entities.
  • Disrupt the service, including through spam, denial-of-service attacks, or automated scripts.
  • Attempt to access areas or data you are not authorized to access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any behavior that violates these Terms or harms the community.

5. Intellectual Property

All game design, artwork, code, text, and other materials provided by PlayWerewolf are owned by or licensed to PlayWerewolf and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

During gameplay, you may create or transmit usernames, messages, and other content. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant PlayWerewolf a limited license to use, display, and moderate that content as necessary to operate and improve the service.

7. Virtual Items and Purchases

PlayWerewolf may offer virtual items or premium features in the future. Any such purchases will be governed by additional terms presented at the time of purchase. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and are not refundable except as required by law.

8. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services, including Cloudflare, for hosting, security, and content delivery. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Disclaimers

PlayWerewolf is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayWerewolf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlayWerewolf and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PlayWerewolf at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles.
